Housing

The Georgia Forensic Academy offers on-site lodging on a first-come, first-served basis. Check-in will begin at 2:00 p.m. and no later than 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. Students must check out no later than 8:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Getman Babcock (GB) Hall is the closest hall to the main campus and provides students with a convenient and cost-effective lodging option. The Campus Police Department is also attached to this residence hall.

Housing

Each suite is single occupancy with a twin bed and a shared bath with another student. Each room comes ready with an in-room refrigerator, a closet, drawer space, and a desk area. The bathroom includes two sinks, a toilet, and a shower. GFA provides standard pillows, linens, and towels. A recreational area is provided on the First Floor, which includes a pool and foosball table, television, and general seating area.

Meals

Meals are offered at Student Commons. Students may utilize two dining locations on campus: Our Student Commons (dining hall) and our Market (retail coffee shop), also located in Student Commons. Breakfast is available at $7.85 each day. Lunch and Dinner is available at $10.00 each day.

Amenities

Students have access to the Fitness Center (Mon-Friday: 6 AM - 11 PM and Sat-Sunday: 11 AM - 9 PM) located at Student Commons. This includes the upstairs Weight Room, Cardio Machines, Downstairs Commons Gym, Racquetball Court, and Indoor Rock Wall (Mon-Thursday: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.).

All forms of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are prohibited on campus. Smoking (including the use of vapor e-cigarettes) is permitted in designated areas outside the building. 

Getman Babcock (GB) Hall

The Getman Babcock Hall was built in 1942 and expanded in 1964, Getman-Babcock Hall is named for donors Cora Anna Babcock of Cooperstown, N.Y., and Dr. Arthur K. and Fredella Babcock Getman of Albany, N.Y.
