The First Officer's Response to a Crime Scene & Evidence Packaging

First responders play a vital role in protecting the integrity of an investigation and aiding in the pursuit of justice. During this course, attendees will discuss the first responder's tasks and responsibilities associated with prioritizing resource allocation and management of the scene and release of the scene to investigation personnel. This includes but is not limited to ensuring that evidence is preserved, the safety of individuals is maintained, establishing a perimeter, documentation, and communication with law enforcement, medical teams, and other relevant agencies.
