About the event
Palm Print Comparisons is a 40-hour course that will build on the Friction Ridge Comparison class. The course will cover the capture of known palm impressions and the collection of major case prints. The student will learn the ridge flows, major and minor creases, in relation to areas of the palm friction ridge skin. The student will learn orientation and comparison techniques for palm print impressions. There will be practical exercises throughout this course.
This course is the fourth in the Latent Print Examiner Series. It is designed for individuals who wish to obtain a Latent Print Examiner Certification.
This class will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
What to Bring:
Participants should bring a fingerprint magnifier with a Henry disc, one ridge counter, a computer with Microsoft capabilities, and the required LPE texts listed below:
