Expert Testimony for Crime Scene Investigations

This 40-hour course equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide clear, objective, and defensible expert testimony that supports the integrity of forensic science in the justice system. Emphasis is placed on professional standards, ethical responsibilities, and best practices that ensure credibility and accuracy when testifying.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Registration is limited to individuals who meet one of the following requirements:

• Currently employed by a United States criminal justice agency

• Current student enrolled as a Piedmont University Criminal Justice or Forensic Science student

International registrations will not be accepted without prior approval. All considerations must be submitted in writing via email to the Course Coordinator.
