Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management & Discussion with a Convicted Terrorist

Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management (BTAM) is designed to give participants an overall view of the behavioral threat assessment process. During this course, students will investigate why and how violence prevention is possible, discuss elements of an effective threat assessment and management program, and practice skills to identify, assess, and manage cases involving potential threats.

We will additionally hear from a former convicted terrorist as he partners up with FBI Special Agent T. Michael Williamson, who assisted in his arrest, to discuss why and how he became radicalized, and his mindset during that time.
